Natural facial line improvement
Jamber Lifting is a thread lifting procedure that naturally refines facial contours. With minimal downtime (swelling, pain), fast recovery, and natural lifting effects.
Especially effective for those concerned about nasolabial folds or cheek hollowing. Using spring-shaped threads for a scaffold effect that naturally fills volume.

What the thread does — fills and supports
The single word 'lifting' covers methods of quite different natures — tightening tissue, pulling it up, and filling a hollow to support it. The spring thread used in Jamber is the last of the three.
Energy devices — tightening
XERF warms the dermis broadly with radiofrequency heat, and LinearZ links focused ultrasound heat in lines down to the SMAS fascia. Neither inserts a thread — both set the line by tightening tissue.
Cog threads — pulling up
Barbs on the thread surface grip tissue and pull it upward (traction). This family is used when moving sagging tissue upward is itself the goal, and it works differently from the spring thread. Where pulling is clearly the better fit — particularly when deep cheek sagging stands out — we sometimes recommend this direction on a limited basis in consultation.
Spring thread — how this treatment works
A 35.3cm PDO thread is compressed into a 3.0cm spring and placed in the subcutaneous layer. The volume the coil occupies mildly fills hollows at the nasolabial fold and the side of the cheek, and that volume acts as a scaffold supporting the skin, so a subtle lift follows. It is nonetheless a different concept from a lift that grips tissue with barbs and moves it upward.
This is a difference of role, not of rank. Filling a hollow while gently supporting it is what the spring thread does, tightening tissue overall is what energy devices do, and if moving tissue upward is the goal, cog threads are the direction. More than one is sometimes needed, so we first sort out in consultation which concern predominates before planning, and how much you feel it varies between people.
How Jamber Lifting works

Spring-shaped threads — scaffold effect
Jamber Lifting uses special spring-shaped threads to provide a scaffold effect, filling volume in nasolabial fold and cheek hollowing areas.
These threads act as a support within the skin tissue, holding sagging skin from beneath and lifting it naturally. PDO also has a property that helps collagen form, but this plays a supporting role — the effect rests mainly on the volume and support the settled thread provides.
Dual anesthesia system
COCO Clinic uses a dual anesthesia system combining topical and local anesthesia.
This minimizes pain during the procedure and provides a comfortable treatment experience.
Minimal downtime
Jamber Lifting is performed without incision — only a needle entry point is made for the cannula. Swelling is minimal, so return to daily life is quick.
In most cases, light activities are possible from the day of treatment, with full return to daily life within 2-3 days.
Key effects
Nasolabial fold improvement
Naturally soften deepened nasolabial folds
Cheek volume improvement
Add natural volume to hollow cheeks
Facial line refinement
Naturally contour the overall facial outline

Never overdone — naturally filling only what was hollow, as if it had always been there.
How a session goes
- 1
Consultation and design
We look at facial structure and where volume has been lost to decide where and how many threads. We generally suggest 4-8 threads per area — typically 4-6 for the nasolabial fold, 2-4 for the front of the cheek, and 4-8 for the side of the cheek. When several areas are treated together the thread counts are summed for pricing. If tightening or another approach should come first in your case, we say so.
- 2
Anesthesia
Local anesthesia is always used. The anesthetic injection itself is uncomfortable, so if you are sensitive to pain we apply numbing cream first to reduce that too before beginning.
- 3
Placing the spring thread
The thread comes preloaded in a cannula and settles into place as the cannula is advanced. There is no incision — only a needle entry point for the cannula. The session takes about 20-30 minutes.
- 4
Recovery and follow-up
Most people can do light activity from the day of treatment and return to normal within 2-3 days. Bruising is relatively uncommon, but a needle does go in, so it can happen — if you have an important event, we suggest coming in 2-4 weeks beforehand. The effect lasts about 6-8 months, by which time most of the PDO has been absorbed. If you wish to repeat, the interval is 3-12 months, timed to what you need.
Recommended for
- Those with deep nasolabial folds
- Those with hollow cheeks lacking volume
- Those wanting to naturally refine facial lines
- Those seeking lifting with minimal downtime
- Those wanting natural improvement without surgery
Aftercare & precautions
- Avoid opening your mouth wide for 2-4 weeks after treatment
- Avoid hard or chewy foods for 2 weeks
- Do not rub or massage the treated area vigorously
- Avoid high-temperature environments such as saunas for 1 week
- Refrain from alcohol and smoking for 1 week as they may delay recovery

Anti-agingWhere a Thread Lift Gets Its Strength — The Jamber Spring
Not every thread lift works by pulling. Jamber compresses a 35.3cm PDO thread into a 3.0cm spring and places it under the skin, where its volume and elasticity fill a hollow and support from below. Here is what the structure actually does.

If you have an important date coming up, one to two months ahead is the usual reference point. Most lifting and booster treatments look their best as collagen builds, not right after the session. Here is the timing and recovery for each.
